On Saturday, October 7, 2023, the Greater Ardmore Chamber and the Ardmore community celebrated the 5-year anniversary and Chamber membership for JJ’s Coffee and More. JJ’s is owned and operated by Jamie Jordan.
Jamie Jordan purchased the business on October 7, 2018. When asked why Jamie selected Ardmore for her business, she explained that Ardmore is a great community, and she was introduced to the community when working for the Ardmore Companion Animal Hospital. Because Ardmore is located between Huntsville and Nashville, she can form relationships with locals and create new relationships with people passing through.
Jamie loves being an Ardmore business owner. However, opening when COVID restrictions were implemented created many struggles, but her business survived, and she believes that the rest is a cakewalk. Jamie indicated that she feels that she owes the community for their continued support, and she will do her absolute best to keep that in mind as her business goes forward. Jamie is an important member of our community. She participates in and supports many events in the community. This past spring, she organized a prom dress give-a-way event for area females to ensure that every young lady in the community had an opportunity to look and feel beautiful at their prom.
Jamie feels that the relationships she has had the opportunity to create are one of the most rewarding experiences she has a business owner. I asked Jamie what advice she would give new business owners, she stated that they should not get comfortable. Things change constantly to be open to trying new things. Be ready to fail, but when you do, dust yourself off and get back up. It’s just one battle, not the war.
Jamie is originally from Jacksonville, Florida. She and her family live in Pulaski, TN. Jamie’s husband is Adam Jordan, who spent 9 1/2 years in the US Navy and is now the owner-operator of Cedar Ridge Angus in Pulaski TN, as well as a sales representative for ABS Global. Jamie has two children. Her daughter, Brooke works as my weekend manager at JJ’s Coffee and is a senior at Athens Bible School. Her son, Thomas, helps Jamie deliver coffee and enjoys playing football for the Ardmore Tigers 8U football league.
JJ’s Coffee and More has a variety of menu items that include iced and hot coffees and teas, paninis, breakfast casseroles, wraps, sandwiches, chicken salad, bagels, Cedar Ridge Angus sliders, soups, salads, desserts, and pastries.
The Chamber is very fortunate to have JJ’s Coffee and More in our community. We hope everyone will stop by her business and try some of her fantastic menu items. JJ’s is located at Ardmore at 27031 Main Street and is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
