Ardmore High Cheer Team To Compete in Nationals

The Ardmore High School Competition cheerleading team will be competing at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, February 7-12, 2024, in the National High School Cheerleading Championship (NHSCC). The cheer team is the first team from Ardmore High School competition cheerleading team to compete at the national level. The UCA’s (Universal Cheerleaders Association) NHSCC has been one of the high points of the season for cheerleaders across the nation for more than 40 years. The championship is the most prestigious high school national championship in the United States and a wonderful opportunity for cheerleading teams to gather and celebrate with each other.

This competition is the only high school cheerleading championship endorsed by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS). The Ardmore High School Competition Cheerleading team will be competing against squads from all over the nation. To compete, the Ardmore High School Competition Cheerleading team had to receive a bid at their regional competition that took place this past fall. The team coaches are Lauren Askew, Sherri Graviet, and Brad Pope. They will be competing in the Medium Varsity D2 Gameday Division. Go Tigers!
