Little Footsteps Learning and Daycare Center Ribbon Cutting

The Greater Ardmore Chamber celebrated the opening of a childcare center in Ardmore with a ribbon cutting.  Little Footsteps Learning and Daycare Center offers childcare for children ages 6 through 12 years of age.  They are licensed to accept 38 children.  They are open Monday – Friday from 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM.  They currently have 4 full-time staff members and 2 part-time staff members.

The owners and operators of the center are Nicole and Christopher Pierce.  Ardmore is their home, and their children attend school in Ardmore.  When asked why they chose Ardmore to open a center, their response was like many parents struggle that when they began their search for childcare for their children, everywhere was full and had a waitlist.  They realized that there was a need for additional childcare in the Ardmore area and through their vision, hard work, dedication, determination, and passion they are ready for their daycare to open.  This is the beginning of a new adventure and journey for them and a much-needed service for the community.

Christopher is a graduate of Athens Bible School who went on to study business at Calhoun Community College. His love and dedication to their three children is ultimately his number one focus. He is part owner of Little Footsteps and the reason for it becoming a reality.  Nicole is the owner and director of Little Footsteps. She is a graduate of Sparkman High and earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education at Athens State University. Since I was a child, she has had a love and passion for children. In their free time, they enjoy spending time with their children and family, relaxing and watching TV, and camping. They are also parents to fur babies and have a love for animals. They enjoy college football on Saturdays and family time on Sundays.

If someone is interested in enrolling their child or touring the center, they can call the center directly at 256-423-1624 to set up an appointment to ask questions or just stop by to get information about enrolling. An appointment is the best option for tours, but if someone shows up wanting one, they will do their best to make it happen.

Little Footsteps Childcare and Learning Center strives to provide children with quality and loving care based on your child’s individual needs. They will ensure a child is safe, having fun, and learning to help promote overall growth. You can visit their website at www.littlefootstepschildcareandlearningcenter.com or follow their Facebook page.  They are located at 26545 First Street, Ardmore, AL  35739.
