ARDMORE – The Greater Ardmore Chamber held a ribbon cutting for North Alabama Maintenance & Janitorial on Saturday, March 4, 2023, to celebrate their office opening in Ardmore and their chamber membership.
North Alabama Maintenance and Janitorial is owned and operated by Jada Miller. Ms. Miller is from Pettusville, Alabama and the daughter of Kennie and Jane Miller. She is engaged to David Young from Manchester, Tennessee and they plan to marry later this year. Ms. Miller also has one son, Ryland Miller. Ms. Miller has an associate degree in construction management from Mississippi Gulf Coast College in Biloxi, Mississippi.
Ms. Miller opened an office in Ardmore in 2018 and it served as a satellite office from the first company she worked for in Gulfport, Mississippi. In October 2022, she merged the Gulfport office with her new company, North Alabama Maintenance & Janitorial. Their service radius covers North Alabama, Southern Tennessee and she has larger projects that are regional to Alabama/Tennessee/Mississippi and Georgia.
Prior to opening her own business, Ms. Miller worked for a large masonry construction company based out of Huntsville. She wore many hats during her time there. She started as a field secretary and attended Georgia Tech to acquire her safety certifications and became a safety engineer before getting transferred to the MS Gulf coast in 2008. She became project manager for the coastal division and ultimately the general superintendent for the New Orleans Division.
North Alabama Maintenance & Janitorial does a variety of jobs dealing with Multi-Family Housing, Commercial, and Residential. Some of the tasks they do with Multi-Family Housing (Apartment units) is remove trash, haul away bulk furniture, paint and drywall repairs, complete unit cleaning, office, and clubhouse janitorial, professional carpet cleaning, make ready services, pressure washing, and lawn maintenance. Task for Commercial customers would include commercial office cleaning, medical office cleaning, industrial office/breakroom cleaning, interior demolition work, non-licensed plumbing and electrical, general maintenance, bulk trash and furniture haul away, store decommissioning/shut down, painting, emergency cleaning, and covid cleaning/sanitation. Task for residential customers include professional carpet cleaning, trash haul away, furniture/appliance haul away, and estate liquidations.
