Grand opening of 74-bed skilled nursing facility in Ardmore on March 28, 2022

After Elk River Health and Nursing Center of Ardmore’s successful Open House on March 10, 2022, for Ardmore’s VIP guests, Elk River will officially be open to the public on March 30, 2022.

The new 74-bed skilled nursing facility, spanning 32,000 square feet, is now complete and ready for occupancy. The facility is equipped with a large rehab gym for inpatient and outpatient services, private rooms, as well as multiple dining and activity areas for residents and families. The new facility and increased occupancy can also serve Ardmore’s Veteran community as a VA service provider.

The investment over the past two years of $7.25 million has served as a positive economic impact on the surrounding community. Elk River is also providing new employment positions for the greater Franklin County region with its expanded rooms and services.

Clint Davis, CEO of Twin Rivers, the management company of Elk River, said, “We’re excited to be opening our new facility this February. I believe it will be something special for Ardmore and their residents.”

Scott Davis, Administrator of Elk River, said, “Elk River is committed to doing our best for our residents, and this building will serve as a pillar of quality care and great employment for Franklin, Giles, and Lincoln County, Tennessee, as well as Limestone County, Alabama.”

Yolandia Eubanks, Director of the Greater Ardmore Chamber said, “I am grateful to the Ocoee Foundation and Elk River and Twin Oaks Management Corporation for investing in the Ardmore community and improving the quality of life for our citizens. This state-of-the-art facility is amazing, and we are blessed to have it here in Ardmore.”
